Role Overview
We are looking for Vignette/J2EE developers based in either York or London. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience of developing enterprise java systems and must have the following skills/competencies:

  • J2EE
  • Vignette V7 : VAP (portal/server) and especially VCMS (content management server)

Any of the following skills would be beneficial:

  • Websphere or Weblogic
  • EJBs
  • UML
  • JMS
  • JSP
  • Spring
  • Hibernate

In softer skills, we are looking for:

  • Good with clients
  • Experience of applying methods
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Logical and methodical thinker
  • Self starter, lots of initiative
  • Graduate with good degree in science, maths or engineering

We will consider someone with similar skills as above but with pre Vignette V7 experience. Please note we will not interview applicants who do not have Vignette VCM skills; VAP alone is insufficient for these roles.
