Role Overview
An outstanding opportunity exists for a Project Manager with at least 5 years experience in managing large scale/multiple projects; delivering to time, cost and scope restraints.

You will have ideally been working for a Managed Services Provider or Systems Integrator in the new media or broadcasting industry. You will have been directly responsible for delivering large complex projects involving multi-tech platforms into tight timescales, often in sensitive political situations. You will be experienced in specifying, planning and taking responsibility for key deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

You will have gained sound technical grounding in most of the following: Microsoft, unix, Networks, Firewalls, internet technologies and have proved yourself capable of matrix management of project teams working in these technologies. Formal project management qualifications e.g. Prince2 preferred but not essential.

You will be able to demonstrate your expertise in estimating and bid management and in your ability to consult and present in pre sales engagements.

Your communication and presentation skills will be second to none, and you should be prepared to work on-site with customers and/or partners. If you thrive on the full ownership of solutions that help customers achieve their demanding business objectives, and enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic environment then this role is perfect for you.

You need to be a graduate with a good degree in a science, maths or engineering discipline and have upwards of 5 years relevant experience. This role is likely to require reasonable travel throughout the UK and overseas.
